Recently, we completed the installation of an outdoor WPC deck for a 100 square meter Western restaurant at Poly Plaza in Guangzhou, China. Traditional anti-corrosion wood often experiences problems such as cracking, fading, mold growth, deformation, wear and tear, and exposed substrates within 1-3 years of use. This not only affects the overall aesthetics of the neighborhood, but also increases the maintenance costs and replacement frequency for merchants in the later stage.

The surface of second-generation plastic wood is compounded with a high-density polymer protective film through extrusion technology, which is the key difference from ordinary first generation plastic wood.
This polymer co extruded layer is not a simple surface coating, but is fused and bonded with the substrate layer under high temperature and pressure, without any peeling or detachment problems. Its molecular structure is dense and can form a physical barrier, targeting the pain points of outdoor scenes:
Anti aging performance upgrade: The co extruded layer is added with anti UV stabilizers and antioxidants, which can effectively block the degradation of the substrate layer by UV rays. It is not easy to fade or become brittle after long-term outdoor use, and its service life can be extended to more than 10 years, far better than the 3-5 year service life of ordinary plastic wood flooring.
Wear resistance enhancement: The Shore hardness of the polymer co extruded layer is much higher than that of the ordinary plastic wood surface, and the friction resistance is greatly improved. It can easily cope with customers’ high-frequency trampling, table and chair movement wear, and long-term use will not cause problems such as exposed bottom, fuzzing, and severe scratches, always maintaining a flat and beautiful surface state.
Anti fouling performance optimization: The dense co extruded layer has almost no pores on its surface, making it difficult for oil stains, beverage stains, rainwater, and other substances to penetrate. It can be cleaned daily with only clean water or neutral cleaning agents, without the need for regular painting and polishing like traditional anti-corrosion wood, greatly reducing the maintenance costs for merchants.
